I come from a family of artists, but I didn’t always know I wanted to be a photographer.

For a while, I was obsessed with traveling the world. Finding the perfect sangria in Spain, eating my way through Thailand, Greek island hopping, exploring haunted castles in Prague, getting monks to take a jump shots with me in India... this was what I lived for. But when all the adventures were said and done, there had to be something to show for it- the perfect photographs.
 
Once I bought my first DSLR, I knew I was hooked. I studied photojournalism and travel writing at University of Hawaii Manoa and got my degree in 2011. 

 

I was incredibly fortunate to land an internship with one of Hawaii's most talented wedding photographers, Chrissy Lambert. Shooting my first wedding was one of those light bulb, flick-of-a-switch kind of epiphanies- I just loved it. This was what I was meant to do- capture once in a lifetime moments that would be cherished for lifetimes to come.

I’m beyond fortunate that I've turned my passion into my full-time profession, and that I get to shoot in Hawai'i everyday is nothing short of a dream come true. When I’m not working, I’m hanging with my husband and our two beautiful kiddos, enjoying all the goodness the island has to offer.
